MMA Fight: When You Keep Going Anyway

If you have been following me for a while, maybe you have noticed that I just had my third professional MMA fight. I am sorry I was not able to inform you too much on the process beforehand, as the camp took all my energy. I was very focused and poured everything into the preparation.
Having followed me for a while, you also know that I have faced losses in the past few years. I was 0-2 as a professional, which is not a great record. In fact, it is when promoters start turning you down.
I never ever had any thoughts of giving up. In the end, martial art is my life. Not just a fighting career. I thought, if I loved it more and more, with time, the results MUST come.
Did I have doubts that I am not cut for MMA? Yes, many times.
Even after 15 MMA fights (2 pro, 13 amateur) and 5 professional Muay Thai fights (4-1), I was thinking, maybe I don't belong here?
Ridiculous, right?
Our mind likes to lie and play tricks.
After 11 months of waiting, preparing, and facing 5 cancellations, this was my face expression, when they raised my hand:

I was taken right to the medical check after the three rounds with a Muay Thai veteran of 60+ fights, and as they buried my face with ice packs and the doctor was testing my eyes and brain, I was shaking as I laughed and cried at the same time. I DID IT.
We did it. With my team, at Phuket Fight Club, I am very grateful to announce that I have moved up to 1-2 in pro MMA and I feel deep gratitude.

For now, I’ll leave you with a few photos from the fight.
Thank you for being here,
